By using the JoyFund INC. platform, you agree to comply with our terms, which are governed by federal U.S. law and the laws of the State of New York.
2. Privacy and HIPAA Compliance
We are committed to protecting user data. Any health-related information collected through campaigns or communications is handled in compliance with HIPAA. Personal data is never sold and is stored securely.
3. User Conduct
Users must not submit false campaigns or impersonate others. All donations must be made in good faith. Misuse of the platform may result in account termination.
4. Liability
JoyFund INC. is a platform provider and does not guarantee any particular campaign outcome. We are not liable for disputes between campaigners and donors, but we will review complaints seriously.
5. New York State Compliance
JoyFund INC. complies with all NYS consumer protection, charitable solicitation, and data privacy laws. Users have the right to access and delete their data at any time.
6. Disputes
As stated in our Liability section, "We are not liable for disputes between campaigners and donors, but we will review complaints seriously." If you are unsatisfied with a campaign outcome, you may contact us through our "Contact" page and we will investigate.
7. Changes
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the site implies acceptance of updates.
8. Responsibility of Use
Campaigners: All users who set up a campaign must be verified by our team to ensure the platform does not get spam accounts.
Donors: All users who donate must follow through once the donation is processed.
9. Tax Information (for Donors)
As a non-profit organization, donors may be able to write off contributions on their tax filings.
10. Transferring of Funds to Campaigners
Funds are reviewed for campaign legitimacy. Once a goal is met, funds are transferred to JoyFund INC., and our team coordinates the activity with the campaign location.
