JoyFund INC. is a crowdfunding platform that helps individuals fund joyful experiences to improve mental and emotional wellness.
Campaigns are for experiences that bring joy—like trips, classes, or personal growth activities—not physical items.
Anyone within the U.S and who are 18+ years of age seeking support for a positive and meaningful experience can start a campaign.
Primarily for individuals, but group campaigns are allowed if stated in the campaign description.
Visit the campaign you want to support and click "Donate." Choose a preset amount or enter a custom one.
At the moment JoyFund INC. is a Non-Profit however, we are in the process of obtainaing our 501C3 status. So, at the moment donations are NOT tax-deductible. We will update accordingly.
We focus on funding joy and life experiences rather than emergencies. Supporting happiness is just as important!
JoyFund INC. charges a small platform fee on each donation to sustain our operations and keep the platform running:
  • JoyFund platform fee: 5% per donation
  • Payment processor fee: ~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (charged by Stripe)
  • Optional tip: Donors can choose to add an extra tip to support JoyFund

Example: A $100 donation:

  • Goes to Campaign: $91.80
  • JoyFund Fee: $5
  • Payment Processing Fee: $3.20
  • Total Charged: $100

Refunds return the donor’s money minus any fees already processed.
